Christmas at Stourhead 2024: A magical light trail
A spectacular light trail is returning to Stourhead for the 2024 christmas period.
The event, created by internationally renowned light trail producers, features stunning illuminations and seasonal attractions.
Visitors can enjoy a range of dazzling displays, including a sea of lights across the lake, floating illuminated feathers, sparkling light tunnels, and vibrant, colourful installations.
Along the way, a magical glimpse of Father Christmas adds to the festive spirit.
Seasonal treats and drinks are available from food vendors, offering indulgent options such as spiced winter warmers, hot chocolate, and toasted marshmallows, perfect for sharing under the stars.
Key information
• Dates: Christmas at Stourhead runs from 29 November 2024 to 1 January 2025.
• Tickets: Admission is by pre-allocated time slots, and both digital and printed tickets are accepted.
• Trail Details: The trail is approximately one mile long and takes about 90 minutes at a normal walking pace. It is an outdoor event, so appropriate clothing and footwear are advised. Queuing may occur on busy days.
• Food and Drink: Refreshments are available at the start and end of the trail, with additional options along the way. Separate charges apply for all food and drink.
• Parking: Onsite parking must be booked when purchasing tickets. National Trust members with a valid membership card can park for free, while non-members are subject to an additional parking fee.
