DAVID ASHLEY CONFIRMED AS DAME IN WYVERN’S MAGICAL PANTOMIME CINDERELLA

Swindon’s Wyvern Theatre will once again welcome back everyone’s favourite dame David Ashley as he digs out his size 10 stilettos to return as Molly Miggins – the housekeeper in this year’s favourite rags to riches tale, Cinderella from 07 December 2024 to 05 January 2025.

David’s 30-year career has seen him perform across the West End in shows such as Cats, Les Miserables, Blood Brothers, Starlight Express and Me and My Girl. But with pantomime running through his veins David regards his annual visit to the Wyvern theatre the highlight of his year. With this season marking his eleventh year he said:

“I am thrilled to be back at the Wyvern theatre this year again for my eleventh season, in the glorious pantomime Cinderella. Get your tickets now… and you know what I say… ‘ave it!”

Wyvern’s Theatre Director, Laura James said: ‘We are absolutely delighted that the iconic David Ashley will once again be returning to Pantoland at the Wyvern this December! Swindon audiences adore David, and it really wouldn’t be Panto without him. He brings the stage, story and magic alive, every time!’

With additional casting to follow including talented local youngsters Cinderella promises to make all your Christmas wishes come true, with laughs galore, sensation singing and dancing, buckets loads of audience participation and a touch of fairy godmother magic.

Poor Cinderella works night and day but dreams of a very different life and with an invitation to the royal ball it looks as if her wish may be granted. Will her Wicked Stepsisters succeed in ruining Cinderella’s dreams of happiness, or will her Fairy Godmother and loyal friend Buttons be able to thwart their devilish plans?
