Enchanted Gardens Light Trail

The Enchanted Gardens Light Trail is back for 2024 from Friday 29th November until Tuesday 24th December.

Experience the Town Gardens transformed into a wonderland of light and festive cheer. Enjoy a fully accessible route accompanied by a mouth-watering selection of warm food and drink from local vendors.

This Christmas, discover a wonderland of light and festive cheer at the historic Town Gardens, Swindon. Wander through a magical backdrop of illuminated trees, discover a trail of remarkable light art sculptures, low level soundscapes, interactive illuminations and a specially commissioned light show.

The food and drink at the Enchanted Gardens Light Trail is conveniently located around the historic Bandstand, which is accessible at the start and end of the trail, meaning you can choose when to endulge in a bite to eat or a mulled wine.

FAQs

Can I buy a ticket on the door?

They will only have tickets available to buy on the door if the session is not already sold out. They advise all customers to buy tickets in advance.

Are dogs allowed?

Only service dogs are allowed in the park during the hours of the trail.

How long is the trail?

The trail is approximately 1.7km and they anticipate your time with them to be around 45-60 minutes.

Where is the nearest car park?

They are working with the Rotary Club of Old Town to provide the car park at The Commonweal School and Sixth Form. The parking fee is £2 and all monies raised donated towards Prospect Hospice. The car park is located at The Commonweal School and Sixth Form, The Mall, SN1 4JE.

The nearest pay and display car park is the Bath Road Car Park, SN1 3LS. Other pay and display car parks nearby include, Prospect Place SN1 3LJ, Britannia Place SN1 4BS and The Planks SN3 1SE.
