La Boheme on the Big Screen

inSwindon BID Company and the Big Screen in Swindon town centre is proud to present a live outdoor relay of the Royal Opera’s La Boheme Live from the Royal Opera House.

inSwindon BID Company, in tandem with the Big Screen, present The Royal Opera’s La bohème on Tuesday 15th July. 

Opera lovers and first-timers alike can enjoy the revered production in true alfresco style, which offers a free, cultured evening. As well as the action on stage, the screen in Wharf Green will also bring exclusive backstage films, competitions and the best performances live to Swindon FREE OF CHARGE! 

Bring a picnic, a chair, and join in this wonderful evening of culture in Swindon town centre.

• Pre-performance screening begins from 7pm
• Performance starts at 7.30pm
• Act I lasts 36 mins with a 6-minute break during which the audience is requested to remain seated
• Act II begins at 8.12pm and lasts 21 mins
• Interval starts at 8.33pm and lasts 25 mins
• Act III begins at 8.58pm and lasts 28 mins
• Interval starts at 9.26pm and lasts 20 mins
• Act IV begins at 9.46pm and lasts 34 mins
• Curtain down at 10.25pm
