On Friday 7th May at 1800, Live at Lydiard announced their full lineup for the debut Live at Lydiard festival. Tickets for Live at Lydiard are on sale now from their website from just £45.00.
Live at Lydiard are expecting that the limited amount of tickets remaining will sell very quickly following this full lineup announcement.
As well as the previously announced Anne-Marie, Live at Lydiard have added over 30 more epic artists for their first year, including global stars: Clean Bandit and Dizzee Rascal.
Clean Bandit have consistently pushed the boundaries of modern pop with their diverse blend of electronic, dancehall, classical, R&B and pop.Their breakthrough success came in 2014 with the single ‘Rather Be’, feat. Jess Glynne, a Grammy award-winning worldwide hit that has now surpassed 10 million global sales. In 2016, they released their 10 million-selling single ‘Rockabye’ feat. Sean Paul and Anne-Marie. Shooting to #1 in over 40 countries and having spent nine weeks at the top of the charts in the UK, the track became the longest-running UK #1 in 22 years surpassing Wet Wet Wet’s ‘Love Is All Around’.
Their single ‘Symphony’, which also hit the top of the UK charts as well as 20 countries worldwide, was recently nominated for two Brit Awards. With their last single ‘I Miss You’ feat. Julia Michaels hitting the top five, the band have now notched up 9 UK top five singles, more than Bruno Mars or Adele.
Dizzee Rascal is easily the most acclaimed and influential artist associated with London’s grime scene, and one of the most successful British rappers of all time. His widely praised 2003 debut, ‘Boy In Da Corner’, released when the innovative MC and producer was only 18, won the U.K.’s prestigious Mercury Prize and remains the definitive grime full-length album.
Since then, he’s catapulted to international stardom, working with artists such as Calvin Harris, Arctic Monkeys and Shakira, and scoring four U.K. number one hits off his fourth album, 2009’s dance-oriented ‘Tongue N’ Cheek’.
Together, Clean Bandit and Dizzee Rascal will be joined by Live at Lydiard’s first headliner: Anne-Marie, whose rise to stardom has been nothing short of meteoric. The announcement of her as Live at Lydiard’s first headliner lifted spirits to great heights in the anticipation for this summer.
A former 3 x world karate champion and West End child star, the 29-year-old has gone onto become one of the world’s most-loved, and successful, pop artists of recent years, with 4 x UK Top 10 singles and 4.5 billion global streams to her name.
Live at Lydiard are also thrilled to announce an immense variety of other artists on the lineup including Radio 1’s Pete Tong. There are few individuals in the world of dance music who can claim the kind of influence Pete Tong has had over the last twenty years. As the voice of Radio 1’s prestigious dance programming, Pete has held a commanding presence over the industry for more than two decades. His unique position has earned him a reputation as the global ambassador of dance music.
With an unparalleled ear for new talent, Tong has become the leading tastemaker of the electronic generation. While he is known publicly as Pete Tong the DJ, behind the scenes, he is an industry icon.
Also on the bill is fellow radio DJ MistaJam. There are few figures in the UK music scene who better encapsulate the exciting dynamic shifts of the last decade than MistaJam. A true tastemaker who represents a huge spectrum of cutting-edge music styles, he is one of the leading lights of contemporary radio.
With an unrelenting work rate, natural broadcasting and DJing talent and razor-sharp A&R skills, he has rapidly ascended to the top of the game.
Joining both Pete Tong and MistaJam in Live at Lydiard’s Dance Tent is Joel Corry. With his year-defining anthem ‘Head & Heart’ featuring MNEK that was officially the longest-running, consecutive #1 record of 2020 after spending six weeks in top spot, ‘Head & Heart’ was also recently crowned Biggest Dance Track Of 2020 by the Official Charts Company. Joel’s new single, ‘BED’, sees him collaborate with RAYE and legendary DJ/producer, David Guetta, on a track written to capture the feelings of longing experienced by so many during the past 12 months.
With three Platinum singles to his name already, ‘BED’ is perfectly positioned to reaffirm Joel’s status as one of the biggest and most exciting breakout dance artists of the last 18 months.
There are a total of 35 artists on the lineup for the first year of their festival, including exclusive stage takeovers from locals ‘Baila Coffee and Vinyl’ and ‘Play Time’, who will both be providing their own immersive musical experiences within their own areas of the festival site featuring local and international talent.
Also on the lineup are many local favourites including: CHANEY, SN Dubstation, Fabien Darcy, Mellowmatic, Paul Caroll.
In addition to the immense lineup, there will be a vast amount of things happening for people to get involved with on the day, with four stages of live music and DJs, their boutique cocktail bar nestled in the woods, a mini record fair for all the vinyl lovers, a fantastic festival food court featuring ten food trucks of amazing local cuisine, loads of funfair rides for the thrill seekers, an array of after parties including Pete Tong & Friends at MECA and much more.
With their full lineup now announced to the world, Live at Lydiard can not wait to show Swindon what they have been
working on behind the scenes.
“We’re offering something that Swindon has never seen before. Our mission? To provide a new, truly unique and groundbreaking festival experience to the South West with the best local and international acts in the game.”
Tickets for Live at Lydiard are on sale now from their website from just £45.00.
