REVIEW: Longleat The Festival Of Light 2024
We recently visited The Festival of Light at Longleat Safari Park, and it truly exceeded our expectations!
This year’s theme, "A Journey Through Time," transformed the grounds into a dazzling adventure, with each display taking us through different eras. From ancient civilizations to Greek Mythology, the theme was beautifully executed, with intricate light sculptures that seemed to transport us through history.
We kicked off our experience with some classic fair food—hotdogs and chips—which were just what we needed to fuel up for an evening of exploring. The food stalls around the festival offered various treats, but we found the hotdogs and chips to be especially satisfying on a chilly winter night.
One of the standout moments was the stunning Christmas tree light show, which took place near the end of the event. The towering tree was covered in hundreds of lights that danced in sync with festive music, creating a mesmerizing spectacle that left everyone around us in awe.
To top it all off, the light show projected onto Longleat House itself was nothing short of magnificent. The historic building became a canvas for colorful patterns and seasonal scenes, perfectly synchronized with a festive soundtrack. The projection show was so immersive that the house seemed to come to life, leaving us spellbound.
Overall, The Festival of Light at Longleat is a magical experience that captures the festive spirit in a unique, visually captivating way. We left feeling uplifted, ready for the holidays, and eager to return next year to see what new wonders await!
