Step back in time and experience the decorated halls at Lydiard House Museum for the festive season.

The elegant State Rooms will be furnished with traditional Christmas decorations including foliage arrangements produced by the Royal Wootton Bassett Flower Club. The foliage decorations will add festivity to mantle-pieces and doorways throughout the house.

Families are invited to take part in festive craft activities on the weekends leading up to Christmas:

Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th December: Make a paper angel
Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th December: Make a paper stained glass window decoration
Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd December: Make a paper wreath

A Country House Christmas runs from Wednesday, 4 December to Sunday, 22 December.

Lydiard House Museum is open on Wednesday to Sunday from 11am to 4pm (last admission 3.30pm). Why not combine your visit to Lydiard House Museum with a delicious lunch next door in the new Palm Bar and Restaurant at Lydiard Park Hotel?
