Lydiard House is a striking Grade I listed building set within 260 acres of stunning historic landscape at Lydiard Park, Swindon. Its picturesque State Rooms of Lydiard House Museum have reopened their doors to the public after an annual Winter closure, this April, with a special family activity in time for the Easter holidays.
Step inside and stroll through the museum to learn about the St John family who lived at Lydiard Park for over 500 years. Discover ornate plasterwork and original family furnishings on display alongside impressive family portraits.
Plus, get creative with their Growing Sunflowers Family Activity - the perfect event for everyone to get involved with this season. Taking place in the main hall, young artsits can bring a plant pot to life with their own decorations as well as sowing a sunflower seed. Participants can take their creations home - head down on 10th and 17th April, anytime between 11:30am and 2:30pm for this enjoyable session. All activities are included with museum admission.
