Recognise this Swindon pub landlord? He just starred on Channel 4’s First Dates!

Ever walked into your local pub and wondered if the landlord could be your next TV star?

Well, if you’re from Swindon, you might have just seen that happen! Sam, the 36-year-old pub landlord, recently took his shot at love on Channel 4’s hit show First Dates.

In Series 22, filmed at The Botanist restaurant in Bath, Sam was featured in episode five. His date? Jo, a 43-year-old catalogue buyer from Bristol who admitted she hadn’t had the best of luck in love over the last two and a half years. Could Sam be the one to change that?
