Snapped: Old Town Parade

Schools, clubs, scouts, brownies, families and local businesses, were just some of the organisations who took part in this year’s Old Town Festival Parade. Hundreds of people lined the streets to catch a glimpse of the annual spectacular - and they certainly weren't disappointed. Before the festivities kicked off at 11:00, little ones had the chance to meet Peppa Pig and drama students from Commonweal School performed some street theatre. There was also a fancy dress competition and plenty of live musical entertainment.
