Snapped: Swindon's Famous Duck Race

On Bank Holiday Monday hundreds of families gathered at Westcott Recreation Ground to celebrate the annual Swindon Duck Race. Families cheered from the riverside as 10,000 rubber ducks made their way down the River Ray hoping to scoop them the £1000 jackpot. The annual event, organised by the Swindon Old Town Rotary was supported by Nationwide and aimed to raise thousands of pounds for local charities. As part of the festivities families could also enjoy an RSPCA Dog Show, stalls, fairground rides and plenty of entertainment.
