Snapped: WOMAD 2014
A diverse line-up, glorious sunshine, and plenty of cider ensured that the first-ever capacity crowd at Charlton Park, enjoyed a classic WOMAD.
With its child friendly atmosphere and massive choice of musical genres, WOMAD has grown to become one of the most popular festivals on the calendar.
Over the weekend, tens of thousands of people packed into Charlton Park, near Malmsbury for several days of sunshine, music and dance.
The festival bill included top acts from all six continents, including African legend Youssou N’Dour, Irish singer song writer Sinead O’Connor and Indian composer Nitin Sawhney.
Part of WOMAD's charm is the unexpected, as festival goers flitted between the hidden stages in the woods and the groves that surrounded the main arena, they weren't quite sure what they were going to find.
