Let's Talk
TGt Meets... Rotten Foxes
Rotten Foxes are a Death Punk band from Brighton, and as they are performing at One Faith Punk Festival at MECA Swindon on May 20th, we thought we'd have a chat!
How would you describe your music?
Turbo fuelled mullet punk for a lost generation.
What can festival-goers expect from your live show?
Blood, sweat, tears and a flood of hot pants drenched in beer.
What are the main differences between playing festivals and regular gigs?
Every show we play is a festival of love, understanding and a complete devotion to the party.
Whether we play to 5 or 5000 people we bring it.
Who have been your biggest musical influences?
Human Leather, they're relentless shows constantly inspire us.
PINTS, true masters of the party.
And some old Norwegian band.
What have been your fondest memories from one of your shows?
That time Rusty got on top of a human pyramid during our set and his member flopped upon someone's shoulder.
Are you going to be exploring much of the local area when you’re in Lechlade for the festival?
With all the activities available it's almost impossible to explore everywhere. But we will be taking a boat cruise to Riverside Park on our way to the Dancing Trousers cookery school.
To survive a music festival, what are your three essentials you need in your luggage?
Alcohol
Amphetamines
Wet wipes
What’s next for the band?
The continuation of the never ending party.
If you could pick one highlight from your career so far, what would it be?
This interview.
