The Air Tattoo, one of the UK's premier outdoor events, returns this summer with an extravaganza of entertainment for all the family!

Prepare for a three-day event that will captivate your senses. From the thunderous roar of jet engines piercing the air to the enthusiastic cheers of the crowd, it's an unparalleled experience. With over 250+ aircraft participating each year, upwards of 140,000 visitors and support from the Royal Air Force and some of the world's leading aerospace companies, the Royal International Air Tattoo has been acknowledged as not only the world's largest military airshow but also one of the UK's premier outdoor events for the whole family!

Explore 27 distinct installations and interact with over 200 personnel to fully immerse yourself in everything the RAF has to offer. Engage with the interactive Chinook exhibits, envision the future of the RAF, and catch a glimpse of the cutting-edge remotely controlled aircraft of tomorrow.

FAQS: 

Can I buy tickets on the day? Tickets for RIAT need to be purchased in advance. Tickets are not available to purchase at the entry gates. You can purchase tickets online on the day as long as they are available. 

Is there an accessible viewing area? There is an Accessible Viewing Area at the showground suitable for both wheelchair and mobility scooter users. 

Are there accessible toilets? Yes, there are accessible toilets in each toilet block on the showground. There is also a High Dependency Unit (HDU) in the Accessible Viewing Area.

What time does the show start and finish?

  • Friday 19 July the showground is open 7.30am until 6.00pm with a flying display from 11am-3pm, followed by additional aircraft arriving ahead of the weekend's show.
  • Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 July the showground is open 7.30am until 7.30pm with a flying display from 10am until 5:30pm.
  • Car parks open at 6am on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Can I bring my own food? Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drink although mobile catering is also provided on the showground. 

Can I bring my dog? Unfortunately, pet dogs and any other animals are not permitted entry to the showground, park & view enclosures or official RIAT car parks.
