Tell us a little bit about yourself...

Hello, my name is Tia and I am the founder and principal of The Wiltshire School of Beauty and Holistic Therapy. I am married and we have a beautiful daughter, 2 puppies and 2 tortoises! I have been a qualified beauty therapist for 27 years and a lecturer in beauty therapy for 25 years.

What inspired you to create The Wiltshire School of Beauty & Holistic Therapy?

Ever since I qualified as a beauty therapist, I opened and ran my own business, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I loved it so much I wanted to pass my skills on to others so I looked into teaching. I was employed by an FE college and felt so passionate about passing on the knowledge and skills I had acquired I wanted to create a learning environment to suit all so that was when WSBHT was born!

What did you do before working at WSBHT? 

I was a beauty therapy lecturer for an FE college.

What makes WSBHT different too any other course provider?
As a private training school we offer extremely high standards of training. All our staff are highly qualified with years and years of experience. We offer great support during and after courses and we have a fun, friendly and welcoming team!

What are some of your most popular courses at WSBHT?

To be honest most of them!

Who can attend The Wiltshire School of Beauty & Holistic Therapy?

Anyone over 16 years of age can do our accredited diploma or VTCT courses however we work with other local educational centres and work with under 16 year old students too who are looking to gain confidence and lift skills!

What's in store for WSBHT in the future?

We already have 3 venues and all I can say is watch this space!!

When you aren't busy at work what do you enjoy doing?

Ummm not busy!! that is not very often! However I love spending time with my family, pets and friends, going on holidays, cinema, and having fun!
