Known as 'The Most Active Day of the Year', locations all over Swindon are running a whole host of fantastic events to mark National Fitness Day, thanks to Better.
National Fitness Day on Wednesday 7th September will see a huge range of free events and taster sessions take place across the country. Better are providing free activities for everyone as part of their involvement in National Fitness Day, helping more people get active more often and make it the most active day of the year in the UK.

Better – the UK’s largest network of public gyms and leisure centres – are participating in this year’s National Fitness Day at over 90 leisure centres across the UK, including the Better Swindon Leisure Centres, which follows on from Better’s involvement in the nation’s biggest sports day, I Am Team GB.
The day will have activities ranging from Circuits to Extreme Air, with the aim to inspire people to get moving while making it easy and fun to try something new.
Steven Woodman, Partnership Manager for Swindon, said, “All staff in Swindon are proud to be part of National Fitness Day and host the free sessions and tasters.
“We’re inviting our local residents and members to come and try the different activities along side our staff and join in with this UK-wide celebration of fitness and physical activity, and see what we have on offer in the centre for all family members throughout the rest of the year.”
