Snapped: Cricklade Triathlon 2012

The heavy rain of late made it somewhat of a character building race, but hundreds braved the wet and muddy conditions to take part in this annual sporting event which is organised by local enthusiasts to raise money for good causes. Despite the forecast, the sun made an appearance which was welcome for those competing and spectating. The men's sprint event was won by Benjamin Christman in 00:58:22, taking the sprint ladies crown was Nicci Clay in 01:04:23. The first male finisher in the Olympic Distance was Chris Miller in 02:12:36 and TGtS's very own Liz Ledger won the Female Olympic Distance with 02:44:52. Check out all the action of the day here...
