Swindon Recycling Centre/tip
Swindon Household Waste Recycling Centre, in Derby Close, Cheney Manor Industrial Estate, is open every day except Wednesdays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Between April 1 and October 31, it is open, 8am to 8pm Thursdays and 8am to 5pm all other days (closed Wednesdays)
Between Nov 1 and March 31, it is open, 8am to 4pm (closed Wednesdays).
Batteries, used engine oil, electric household items and even properly wrapped household asbestos can be accepted. For further details of what can be disposed of at the site see: Swindon Household Waste Recycling Centre.
You’ll need proof of residency to use the site.
Dealing with a death in Swindon
