Festive Fundraising with Prospect Hospice
December sees Prospect Hospice’s fundraising calendar come to an end with a series of festive activities.
Throughout the end of 2014, the Wroughton-based charity is asking supporters to take part and their yuletide fundraising, with plenty of fun ideas on offer there should be something for everyone wanting to take part and raise funds for their local hospice.
December will see the popular Santa Collection day on the 12th and a brand-new Christmas Shopping Dash between Swindon’s charity shops on the 10th. The much loved Mince Pie Munch-Offs and Christmas Jumper Days can be hosted by fundraisers at anytime throughout the month.
In addition, the charity is also offering its Easy Christmas Card idea for businesses, schools and clubs through which people can send a festive wish to their colleagues and friends while raising much needed funds for the hospice’s care.
“Christmas is always a very busy time for us,” says Prospect Hospice’s head of fundraising Sheryl Crouch. “For many people it is the time of year when they look to support a local charity, particularly one that touches the lives of so many people each year. We want to make it as easy as possible for people to be able to show what Prospect Hospice means to them.”
