Floyd Taylor will once again be lacing up his skates for the Swindon Wildcats
Swindon Wildcats are delighted to announce another returning face for the 2020/21 season, Floyd Taylor will once again be lacing up his skates for the Wildcats and the popular youngster will be entering his 9th season with the organisation.
He skates fast, gives 110% on every shift he plays and has become synonymous with the Wildcats over the last 8 years. It’s easy to forget that Floyd is only 24 years and old and is coming into the prime of his career.
Head Coach Aaron Nell was delighted to have secured his services once more for the new season which will get underway in September.
“I’m over the moon to be able to bring Floydy back for another year. He’s one of the most committed and hardworking players on the team and we all love him in the locker-room. He’s the epitome of an energy player and the rest of the team can feed off him and the shifts he puts in. Floyd has continued to improve this year and come up with some massive goals for us at crucial times.
The National League has enabled him to have more competitive ice time on a nightly basis and I think opposition players don’t like playing against him. We’re delighted to have secured his services again and I’m sure the fans will be pleased to see number 12 back again!”
Stay tuned to hear from Floyd himself about his new deal and how life has gone in his 8th season over the coming weeks.
We’d like to thank Melanie and Nigel Beckett for their continued support of Floyd this year and would like to remind everyone that you can contact our Commercial Manager Sally Price for all sponsorship enquiries on [email protected]
Floyd now joins; Aaron Nell, Sam Bullas, Tomasz Malasinski, Chris Jones, Renny Marr, Stevie Whitfield, Tyler Plews and Neil Liddiard on the roster for the 20/21 season.
