REVIEW: Overnight Escape at Kings Head Hotel & Spa Cirencester

Situated in the historic market town of Cirencester, the capital of the Cotswolds, the boutique five star Kings Head Hotel and Spa is a beautiful listed building. It's perfectly situated in the heart of the town with an abundance of nearby activities.

The hotel decor is relaxing and cosy and celebrates the local historic area cleverly combining chic elegance with a modern twist and exposed brickwork amplifying a sense of warmth and character.

They offer a wide range of drinking and dining options for all tastes, from their premium Kings Head restaurant that celebrates local produce, the MBB Brasserie, is a stylish open kitchen. They serve afternoon tea, divine cocktails in the stunning Vaulted Cellar.

They welcome dogs, allowing you to unwind by a cosy fire in the bar with a coffee and your beloved pet. During the warmer seasons, you can enjoy charming outdoor dining spaces.

The reception staff were warm and friendly and as our room was ready they allowed us to check in a little early. 

Our superior room, like all the rooms and apartments, was unique and individually styled with distinct decor and character to suit the local area. It was modern, sophisticated and charming.

Kings Head Hotel & Spa offers all the facilities needed for a relaxing stay, including tea and coffee making facilities, optional drinks to purchase, a mini fridge, ironing board, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a flatscreen TV.  

Our bed was grand and opulent with a plethora of luxurious linen and pillows which we eagerly awaited for sleeptime. 

The modern and spacious ensuite bathroom had a spacious walk-in shower and complimentary ELEMIS toiletries, dressing gowns and slippers. 

After a deep and relaxing sleep the breakfast was superb offering a choice of a full English and a buffet with unlimited choice.
