Leonardo Hotel - Our Green Tourism Journey

Leonardo Hotels Group recognises its potential to improve people’s well-being, protect nature and preserve cultural heritage by embracing the trends of responsible and sustainable tourism.

Our long term ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) Sustainability Policy sets out our ambition to minimise Leonardo Hotels impact on our planet, focuses on a positive culture for our staff members, suppliers and local community, and driving change, becoming a sustainability leader within the hospitality industry.

Working in partnership with Green Tourism since 2023 Leonardo Hotels have undertaken annual audits towards sustainability certification. The audits consists of 15 sustainable goals and designed to provide a practical framework to help our hotels make positive impacts with our people, our hotel and the wider community and planet. This includes:

• People Goals
• Places Goals 
• Planet Goals

We are delighted to announce following our 2024 audit, Leonardo Hotel Swindon gained Gold accreditation which is the highest award that can be achieved.  A significant amount of work has gone into our sustainability practices in 2024 and this award is testament to the incredible work undertaken by our hotel team and positive impact champions and leaders. This award demonstrates to our employee’s , guests and partners that we are leading the change in sustainable practices and our impact.
