Directors and Plastic Surgeons Nick Reynolds and Umraz Khan say “We have cared for patients across the region for many years passionately believing that they must be at the centre of the service to receive the right support and care, at what can be a very difficult time. We believe that now is the right time to increase access to these services so anyone living with known or suspected skin cancer can be seen locally and be confident to get a highly personal quality service". Consultant Dermatologist Dr Thomas Millard says "We promise to offer timely and effective treatments and have ongoing contracts with Wiltshire and BANES CCG (Clinical Commissioning Group). We also carry out many skin cancer procedures for the Royal United Hospital in Bath and now for the Great Western Hospital in Swindon. We believe this service will help improve ease and speed of access for patients, particularly as we have already been approached by local providers to see if we can help due to Covid delays they are experiencing.”
Practice Manager Shawn Warren-Willcox is keen to welcome prospective patients and local health care providers to visit on Saturday 31st July "The team will be here all day for the community to drop in and look around. We will be having a grand opening ceremony in the afternoon at 3.30pm and hope we can share this service with the local area, where we are also excited to launch our local recruitment drive. So please come and meet the team and we will provide you with a warm welcome".
