North Star Village Swindon

The North Star development is a 500,000 sq ft regional leisure scheme in Swindon, set to be one of the largest of its kind in the UK.

This £270 million development will completely regenerate the North Star Village Swindon site and create a regional leisure centre that will have a transformational impact on the town.

The proposed scheme includes:

• 2 indoor ski slopes and a family snow play area all with real snow
• 12-screen cinema including the UK’s largest IMAX screen
• 19 lane bowling alley
• 27,000 sq ft indoor trampolining centre
• Food and beverage units sized between 900 – 6,200 sq ft
• Up to 46,000 sq ft of complementary retail units
• 130-bed hotel
• Up to 16,000 sq ft of space allocated for a new fitness gym
• 900-space car park

The existing Oasis Leisure Centre, on which SevenCapital recently carried out remedial works and which already attracts circa 615,000 visitors per year, is also encompassed within the proposal and will be set to benefit from a 3.3 million average footfall that CBRE has forecast the North Star Village will attract.

Pending full planning approval, SevenCapital plans to be onsite to begin works before the end of the year.
