Quadruple Success at the South West Great British Care Awards
Thursday 23 November the prestigious regional South West Great British Care Awards were hosted at Ashton Gate, Bristol. This great annual event honours excellence in the care sector and shines a spotlight on outstanding achievements in 25 award categories.
Ridgeway Rise located in Blunsdon St Andrew, Swindon nominated five of their team for varying categories and were delighted they were all selected as finalists in the categories of Care Assessor, Frontline Leader, care Home Cook, Activity Coordinator and Unpaid Carer (Volunteer).
To everyone's delight Ridgeway Rise scooped four of the awards and were presented with their awards by James Argent in front of a packed audience and supported by their colleagues.
Bella Balaci, Ridgeway Rise Care Home Manager commented, ‘Myself and the team were so delighted to have had all five of our nominations selected as finalists which in itself is fantastic recognition for the individual’s valued contribution but to walk away as winners in four of the categories surpassed all of our expectations. This is such a great moment for not only the winners but for the home, staff team and our amazing residents and relatives.’
