Snapped: Blunsdon Railway Celebrates 35 Years

The Swindon and Cricklade Railway celebrated its 35th anniversary on Sunday 17th November. In honour of this momentous occasion a newly converted carriage christened 'Laura' was launched by Michael Hill, Chief Executive of the Hills Group, and Councillor Nick Martin, the Mayor of Swindon. Following the ribbon cutting ceremony the public got the chance to have a ride in the new carriage for the first time. As part of the celebrations 'kids went free' and each received a branded balloon. One of the most notable additions to the converted carriage is wheelchair access.
