Snapped: Disability Confident Conference 2014

A special event was held at STEAM on Wednesday to provide employers with information and support when employing individuals with disabilities or long term health problems. Hosted by SEQOL and sponsored by Excalibur, the conference was a fantastic opportunity for local businesses and the government to come together to identify the challenges that employers currently face. The event was the second of seven regional events taking place all over the country. Mike Penning the Minister of State for Disabilities opened the conference while Falkland’s Veteran Simon Weston OBE shared his views during a motivational speech.
