Snapped: Question Time Visits Swindon

Last night residents from Swindon vied for the mic when BBC’s Question Time came to town. The topical debate show hosted by David Dimbleby, invited guests from the worlds of politics and the media to answer questions posed by members of the public. Panelists appearing on last night's show which was broadcast from New College included Shadow Health Minister Liz Kendall, former leader of the Liberal Democrats Charles Kennedy, Defence Secretary Philip Hammond, author Jeanette Winterson and philosopher Roger Scruton. During the hour-long programme, topical issues involving Swindon took priority, including why Swindon is the most obese town in the South West and how local funding can be made accessible to adults with learning difficulties.
