Snapped: Swindon Designer Outlet Handbag Amnesty
Over the weekend (6th-7th October), Swindon Designer Outlet hosted a pop-up handbag shop to support local charity Brighter Futures.
Brighter Futures is the hospital charity of the Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, focusing on funding that extra special level of care in order to make a real difference to patients, their families and the staff who treat them, above what the NHS is able to provide. The charity improves the hospital environment, funds ground breaking research, supports the development and training of hospital staff and provides state-of-the-art equipment.
People visited Swindon Outlet between 21st September and 3pm on 4th October to donate their pre-loved handbags, man bags and briefcases. Anyone who made a donation recieved a Fashion Passport, enabling them to enjoy 10% off various brands!
On 6th & 7th October, people were able to shop the donated pre-loved handbags, man bags and briefcases, and all proceeds went to the Brighter Futures charity.
There was also the chance to win a Mulberry Bayswater Bag, worth over £900! Simply by purchasing a raffle ticket from the handbag shop.
