0700 392 1235Hugely popular former Swindon rider Charlie Gjedde will be back at the Abbey for the Bob Kilby Memorial Trophy on Sunday, March 18 (6pm).
Gjedde, who had a great relationship with Robins supporters, now rides for Belle Vue and is a welcome addition to the opening Blunsdon meeting of the season.
Joining him will be one of the current Swindon stars in talented youngster Nick Morris who is preparing for his debut season with the club.
Robins co-owner Gary Patchett said: “Charlie is very much a fans favourite and he proved that he’s lost none of his Abbey knowledge when he scored 11 for the Oxford team in the Bob Kilby meeting last September.
“Nick had a great 2011 with Glasgow and Coventry and has the winning habit. He’s already shown his liking for our track but we will have the benefit of this rather than feeling the pain of high scoring against us!”
