The 75th Anniversary of VJ Day
On Saturday the 15th of August 2020 it will have been 75 years since victory over Japan. This was the moment that ended the Second World War.
Community Radio station Swindon 105.5 are paying tribute to the 75th anniversary of VJ Day by producing a special programme to mark the ending of WW2 from 10am until 12.00pm on Saturday the 15th of August.
They'd love to know if you have any memories of VJ Day in Swindon? The radio station can record your memories remotely either by phone or video and share these amazing memories on the show as a tribute to those who served in the Far East.
