Things are Spicing Up at Regent Circus
Regent Circus has secured yet another well known restaurant chain; Jimmy's Pan Asian Kitchen, will join the likes of Nando’s, Prezzo, Ask and Coal Grill when the £50m development launches next autumn.
Specialising in world cuisine, the popular chain will offer diners in Swindon more than 100 different dishes from around the globe including Indian, Italian, Mexican and Chinese.
As part of the restaurant's 25-year lease deal with the leisure hot-spot, two units will be combined to create a dining space totalling more than 7,000 square foot.
After a string of big name chains fought for one of the coveted eight restaurant units, now only two remain. Advanced negotiations are said to be happening between Regent Circus and several other equally popular food outlets.
“We're overjoyed that Jimmy's Pan Asian Kitchen will be diversifying the already fantastic array of menus on offer in our restaurant quarter” said Ashfield Land managing director Andrew Fisher.
“Since construction work began in the summer, interest in the units at the development has sky rocketed. Jimmy's is the latest in a long line of restaurant chains to acknowledge the brilliant business opportunities on offer here."
After Swindon College relocation to a new £17m campus back in 2006, Ashfield Land acquired the freehold.
Once complete the Regent Circus development will boast a Cineworld multiplex cinema, a Morrisons superstore and a 450-space car park.
Property Director of Jimmy's Restaurants, Jeremy Smith said: Regent Circus has the potential to be huge! We can't wait to introduce locals to our unique blend of quality food and splendid customer service."
