Wiltshire’s FIRST Toptracer Range is coming to Basset Down Golf Complex

Basset Down Golf Complex is delighted to announce that golf’s much-loved technology, Toptracer Range, will be installed in every bay on their driving range towards the end of next month (November 2019).

Toptracer is the same technology used on televised golf tournaments to track the shots of the game’s best players and allows users to link their smartphones to the interactive screens. By doing so, players can view specific club stats, compete against friends, play virtual courses and engage in Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin competitions.

Basset Down Golf Complex, just a two-minute drive from J16 of M4 in Swindon, will be the first driving range in Wiltshire to be providing this state-of-the-art technology, meaning that golfers no longer have to travel outside of the county to use Toptracer.

Alongside this exciting new addition to their 20 bay, undercover range, Basset Down Golf Complex is also in the process of installing a brand-new lighting system, which will dramatically enhance the way players track the flight of their ball during evening practice. The complex has also put 20,000 new balls into circulation and earlier this week replaced all of their Power Tee mats with brand new ones.

When equipped with this new technology, the range at Basset Down will offer even more of a fun, engaging, tech-driven experience that appeals to individual golfers, families, groups of friends and those new to the game.
