It's December and 2021 is drawing to a close. What have been your highlights in business this year? What milestones have come and gone? What’s your vision for 2022?

Today we're talking to Jamie Martin who is managing director and founder of Correct Careers Coaching.

It’s December – is this a busy time for your business? 
Yes, I am busy working up until the festive holidays. This is a busy time for me and a good time for clients to engage me to upskill and provide training to their staff regarding sales and social media. 

Christmas is coming – what does Christmas mean for you?  
I am a fan of Christmas, I get involved with the local church and community regarding the festivities. I also enjoy doing traditions with family and friends.

On my personal list is more days out! 

What have been your business highlights in 2021? 
1.     Co-author a chapter within a sales book

2.     My business now has won a total of nine  awards within two years.

3.     Named one of the 42 under 42.

What have been your personal highlights in 2022? 
1.     Having a great holiday in Wales.

2.     Spending more time with family and friends

3.     Brought a new all-in-one PC, doesn’t sound exciting, but has been beneficial to my business!

What will you do differently in 2022? 
I will focus on two or three core services of my business to further my expertise and build a strong client base and pipeline within these topics.

Is ‘giving back’ important to you, your business or organisation? Why? 
Yes, giving back is extremely important to me. I like to support and help others where possible.  I am a believer in what goes around comes around.

Will you have a nominated charity for 2022? 
Yes, this will be Swindon & Gloucestershire Mind. This charity is a great support for those who need it regarding mental health and well-being.

What would be your best piece of advice for anyone in business for 2022? 
Yes, spend time researching your target customer market – who they are? Their buying behaviour? How they like to be contacted?

This will help to convert the clients you require for long-lasting relationships earlier on in your business.
