DROP IN TO TALK ABOUT MONEY WITH DAVE SOUTHBY
Financial adviser Dave Southby is offering drop-in sessions in Wroughton in July and then on a quarterly basis. Local residents are invited to pop in for a free informal chat about their finances.
From insurance to pensions, Dave has a wealth of expertise to share. These quarterly sessions are run with support from Will writer Martin Baker who can help with probate and estate planning.
Dave said: “It can often be difficult finding the right person to help so these sessions are designed to make it easier for people to seek the help they need. We both live in Wroughton and it is a privilege to be able to give back to the local community.
“We guide people, who attend, we simply want to help them as we believe it’s so important for people to understand their finances and plan for their future and their family’s future.”
‘There is a lot of uncertainty at the moment with the current cost of living crisis. It’s good for people to talk through their concerns and hopefully go away with some information that will help them.’
Although there is no formal advice given, Dave hopes that people leave with a better understanding of their options and with some of their questions answered.
Based on previous experience he expects the next event to be busy. Dave said: “We have done four sessions so far and they have all been incredibly popular.”
The drop-in sessions, which are free of charge, will be held at the Ellendune Centre on Friday 21st July between 9am and 1pm and people can just turn up.
