We all get the spring-cleaning bug this time of year start clearing out that under stairs cupboard and that one random kitchen draw that accumulates so much junk; but do you spring clean your business too?

There are so many aspects you can look at but here are some of my tips for spring cleaning your Instagram Business account. To help it get more followers, engagement and those all-important sales.

The first area to look at is your profile and BIO:

1)   Is your profile picture a clear bright photo of either your face or your business logo?
2)   Does your BIO clearly detail what you do and who you help?
3)   Do you have highlights that are similar to your website… About Me, testimonials etc.
4)   Is there a clear CTA and link in your BIO.  You could use Linktree or Milkshake for multiple links.

Your content and feed is another area that might need freshening up, you could look at the following:

1)   Do you use a variety of content types, static posts, carousels, reels and videos?
2)   Does your content speak to your ideal client and help them?
3)   Do you have your face on your feed to help build your credibility, trust and brand?
4)   Use insights to repurpose content, that has performed well over the last 12 months.  Could you turn a static post into a carousel post etc?

Does your brand stand out and represent you and your business:

1)    Are you brand colours consistent throughout your feed?
2)   If you create infographics are your fonts consistent and easy to read?
3)   Does your feed look professional & represent you?
4)   Do you talk to your ideal customers without using jargon?
