TIPS FOR SUCCESS IN 2022!
We're half way through January and we're beating the blues by sharing positive tips and thoughts from business owners. Today we're talking to Hannah Edwards who is a virtual assistant/social media manager through her business Empowered VA Services. She works with small business owners in the UK and overseas allow them the time to concentrate on the bigger tasks in their business.

What are your top PR tips for 2022?
- Make sure you have your social media working for you. Even if you have to schedule your posts – it’s a way of getting seen!
- Comment on things in the news that matter to you – create social media posts discussing them – just don’t say anything that could get you into trouble!
- Take any opportunity that you can if you know it’s right for you!

And your top financial tips?
- Know your numbers
- Invest in your business and yourself/your team.
- Save throughout the year so that you aren’t stuck with a huge tax bill at the end.

Who are your top business buddies in your corner for 2022? 
- Samantha Jayne The Spiritual Coach who does the best courses and really gets you looking at things in a different way!
- Lis McDermott Author and Writing Mentor who is just the best!

What are your ethics this year? 
- Be open to learning from others
- Be kind – in business social media can be a fantastic tool but it can also be a place full of unkind people and if the past few years have taught me anything it’s that you don’t know what someone else is going through and it could be your words that hurt them the most.
- Be loyal to those who have supported you and helped you in your journey

What will you be investing in this year? 
I’ve already invested in myself with one of Samantha Jayne’s courses. I've got my eye on a few more things to drive me forward. 

What will you be doing differently in 2022? 
I’ll be revamping my packages and offering a lot of new stuff for my clients.

What are you doing for charity or community this year? 
Personally I’ve started supporting Scope who are raising money to support people with disabilities to live in a fair and equal society.

There are multiple ‘awareness’ days & weeks & months in January 2022 – could you pick just one and say why you’ll be engaging with it: 
I’m sure I’ll end up baking a cake for National Chocolate Cake Day on January 27th and sharing it on my social media and then talking on the 28th about how Data Privacy is important in an industry like mine!

We’re at the start of a new year and this is our chance to make it amazing – anything can happen when you put your mind to it!
