June Talk with Hannah Edwards

It’s June and we’re half way through the year – it’s also officially the first month of Summer and we've just had a long weekend to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. What does this month mean for you and your business? Today we're talking to Hannah Edwards, Virtual Assistant of Empowered VA Services, based in Swindon, who supports people with their admin and social media tasks that they either don’t have the time to do or don’t like to do.

JUNE is the first month of Summer – what will you be doing this summer in your business?
Some of my clients will be away so I’ll be doing holiday cover for them. I also use the summer to go over my services that I offer to work out what ones are the most popular, plan future offers and blog posts that I want to write for the next quarter.

What are your personal plans for Summer?
I don’t make plans for the summer because I like the last minute day trips that weren’t planned. I’m hoping to get to Bath again for the day and to catch up with friends and their children.

June is often associated in nature with growth and abundance – what are your plans for growth?
I’ll be looking at my growth from January 2022 to now and seeing how I can improve on that including blog post topics, newsletters and social media posts.

As we hit this mid point of 2022– which one business has really supported or helped you over the last quarter? 
There hasn’t been any one business that has supported me but several – my clients all support me by making the commitment to us working together.

Spiritual business coach Samantha Jayne has given me a new perspective on how to look at the business and grow it from a spiritual aspect and recently I had a session with Andy Entwistle of Salient Sales that has allowed me to work on my sales process.

Have you got any events planned for the coming months which you’d like to mention?
In July I’ll be helping on the Scott Media stand at the South West Business Expo in Swindon on July 7th. 

We’ve been doing a lot more of them recently and I love them. It’s a long day but it’s really worth it for all of the connections that you can make.

June 30 is Social Media Day – what does social media mean to you and your business? 
Social media is central to my business and it offers infinite possibilities. I appreciate all platforms and work with my clients particularly on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

I’m just starting to get into Tik Tok after avoiding it for so long but I’ll always go back to Instagram and Facebook.

Have you got any summer services or special offers you’d like to mention? 
Summer is the time that a lot of people are going away and worry about their emails. I offer a holiday email package for £60 (for 2 weeks) that means that you don’t have to worry about checking those emails and can enjoy your time off!
