Small business with a big heart donates to The Churn Project

Caroline Peyton, local nutritional therapist and naturopath has donated £1,000 to The Churn Project, money she raised for the charity during 2021.

Caroline, who has clinics in Swindon and Cirencester as well as online, helps individuals improve their health and wellbeing (with a strong emphasis on digestive gut health) through personalised programmes focused on their diet and lifestyle.

She provides online consultations and offers clinics to more local Cotswolds’ people in Kempsford, Cirencester and Swindon. Caroline lives locally and knows the area well, which is one reason why she opted to help support The Churn Project:

“I was keen to support a local charity and give something back to the community my business serves. I had always admired the work done by The Churn Project to support vulnerable and marginalised people in Cirencester and the local area and as 2021 was The Churn’s 20th anniversary I thought it would be a good reason to fundraise. I am so thrilled to have been able to donate £1,000 and would like to thank my clients for their support.”

Caroline raised the funds through running online programmes where a portion of the fee was donated to the charity and she also ran a successful online auction where bidders could bid for healthy products and foods, many donated by Caroline’s own contacts.

The Churn Project’s CEO, Juliet Cocks, said:

“It is always wonderful when community businesses like Peyton Principles want to support a community charity and we are so very grateful to Caroline and her clients for choosing The Churn Project in 2021.We have lots of plans for this year and the money will provide activities for some of the regular groups we run that are so important to reducing loneliness and isolation.”

Caroline has also opted to continue to raise funds for The Churn this year and will be holding another online auction to support the charity in the Spring. For more information about Caroline visit https://www.peytonprinciples.com
