Stefan Thomas has an exciting quarter 4 happening and he's telling us all about it!

We’re halfway through October, it’s Q4 and one of the key business moments is, of course, Halloween (or at least for some businesses).

Up today is Stefan Thomas who is a keynote speaker and author of Business Networking for Dummies. Stefan speaks to audiences, inspiring and motivating them at business conferences and events.

What’s coming up for your business in Q4? 
This last quarter of 2023 is incredibly busy and important. I am speaking at various conferences, plus helping the business owners I mentor to get ready for 2024.

In my own business we’ll be launching Connect Live which happens in May 2024, a unique event combining education for business owners from various industry experts, plus networking facilitated by me.

Plus we’ll be launching The Networking Retreat Sri Lanka, happening in November 2024. This is an international event, bringing business owners together from across the globe, to collaborate, and learn from some of the very best in small business ownership around the world.

If you have a product based business & Halloween is an important time for sales – when do you begin preparation for this holiday?
I was brought up a Catholic so whilst we pay attention to Halloween and Bonfire Night we’ve never paid much attention to them :-)

Clocks go back this month and we get an extra hour in bed. How do you see ‘time’ in your business? 
I actually write quite a lot about how I use micro moments in my business, so that extra hour could be put to good use. Have you got any services or special offers you’d like to mention? 
The Speaking Retreat is happening again on October 25th, my flagship speaker training event. All year I’ve been helping folk to become not only better speakers, but showing them how to get paid to do so. It has been so successful for the attendees that, after a summer break, we’re bringing it back this Autumn and Winter - https://speakingretreat.biz/

And finally, tell us one thing you love about the autumn/winter months?  
I always loved December in business, because everyone else slows down and it gives us all a unique marketing opportunity. I learnt very early on in my career that the times when other businesses aren’t doing anything, is a huge opportunity to get on and market. For my Networking Success Programme, for the last three years in a row, New Years Day has been my best selling day of the year.

Plus, what’s not to like about a long walk in the cold followed by a pub lunch in front of a log fire!
