What will September bring for Paul Day?

It’s the middle of September and the weather is changing. We’ve been speaking to businesses to find out what this month will bring for them and today we’re talking to Paul Day who is the Technical Director at Filestream Ltd Document management software based in Wokingham, Berkshire.

What’s coming up for your business in September?
We should complete on our new office purchase, which is exciting for us and now that schools have returned, we should be able to complete on some of our projects.

It’s ‘back to school’ month – is this relevant to you personally or professionally?
Professionally we have a couple of education leads to continue and my commute to work will take 15 minutes longer due to the school traffic again

September is also known as ‘organic’ month – do you shop, dress, or behave with green ethics in mind?
I prefer to buy organic foods as this is better for the environment as most of them use recyclable packaging as well.

World Gratitude Day takes place this month (Sept 21) – what are you grateful for at the moment?
I am grateful for having great family, friends and being healthy.

Who are you grateful for at the moment?
My partner for always supporting me and giving great advice and Sid my black Labrador who is always happy to see me when I return from a long day at the office!

What are your hopes for business for the rest of this year?
The things we hope for in this last quarter of the year is to increase business, attend some great business shows and meet new business associates when we’re out and about.

We are dealing with a lot of messages around ‘bad’ news such as the rising cost of living, inflation rising and interest rates rising. How are you keeping positive – what tips can you share with others?
I’m keeping positive by remembered that as long as we are kind and supportive of others then we can all get through it.

Have you got any events planned you’d like to shout about – either that you are running or attending?
We have business shows in October that we are looking forward to as meeting new potential customers is great a great opportunity.

Have you got any services or special offers you’d like to mention?
Our new scanner website has been completed and there is a promotion on for our cloud software and a scanner for £200 per month. We will also be extending our free document audit to look at your GDPR processes and ways of protecting your business from ransomware and viruses.

And finally, can you share something which inspires you to ‘keep going’?
Smile and carry on, forget the bad things as good things come to those who wait.
