What's coming up for the team at Just For Fun Holiday Club in 2023?

Sean Harper, one half of the team of Just For Fun Holiday Club shares the exciting plans they have coming up in 2023!

This month we're do something that hasn’t been done for many years within childcare companies. We're doing a sleepover club, on the first Saturday of every month. This came about because it's something that many parents have asked over the years for us to keep their children over night.

Mike hass thought about it for a long time and then he was asked to look after the children at the 24 hour grapplethon for charity. After raising £700 for charity, the kids having a great time and Mike still having his sanity he decided to put the wheels in motion. After securing the perfect venue with comfy mats and CCTV the new venture is ready to rock and roll!

For me personally I’m getting ready for the London Marathon 2023. I was lucky enough to get a space via the ballot and this has given me the motivation to get out and start resetting my body. For to olong I have hidden behind excuses as to why I can’t or won’t exercise. This is something that is on my bucket list and I want to leave everything out there on the 23rd April. 

Every year I watch the thousands of people who run for great causes or personal experience and think it shows so much about our society. We all work at different paces and different styles but the end goal is the same. The euphoria of crossing the finishing line, the barriers and hurdles they have faced in the build up and finding the energy and commitment to see it through is something that I can't wait to experience and I’m really looking forward to sharing this experience with my family.
