Real estate group RO Group has acquired an additional 11.6 acres of land south of Home Farm, a site it had already purchased in July. This brings the company’s total landholding in the area to 21 acres. The land is part of the wider New Eastern Villages project, one of the UK’s largest greenfield developments, spanning 724 hectares.
The site, located just off the A420 Swindon to Oxford Road, is strategically positioned with strong connectivity to the M4 and major employers such as Amazon, Iceland, Sainsbury’s, Dunelm, and Hobbycraft. The area promises to deliver modern living spaces along with essential infrastructure to support a growing community.
Construction on the development’s southern section, named King George’s Park, began in August 2024, with work initially focusing on 2,500 homes. The latest acquisition by RO Group signals continued momentum in bringing this large-scale project to fruition.
