Ridgeway Rise Care Home is a purpose-built luxury care home that offers nursing, residential, dementia and respite care.

Encompassing 73 spacious and beautifully decorated en-suite bedrooms, each one has been designed to offer residents a high level of comfort and a home-from-home environment.

THE AIM

The care Ridgeway give to residents is straightforward, practical and above all, tailored to their individual needs. They take the time to get to know their residents, to help them retain connections to their family and friends, their community and their past. Everyone has a rich history of life experiences and Ridgeway want to make the most of these in the care they provide.

The dedicated, carefully recruited team are always compassionate and caring and have your best interest in mind. Many team members are encouraged to become Dementia Friends, increasing their understanding of dementia to be able to provide best support.

Through their dedicated Activities Co-ordinators, Ridgway Rise can offer something for everyone, from chair exercise and ball games to help keep fit, to choir practice and quizzes to encourage thinking and teamwork. Their green-fingered gardeners relish the opportunity to spend time in the great outdoors, making the most of the glorious gardens, while their keen bakers always enjoy cooking up some tasty treats for residents to enjoy.

Ridgway believe in looking after more than just the care needs of their residents. They want to enhance general wellbeing – encouraging both active body and mind – by providing the highest quality of life for each and every resident.

They understand the importance of supporting their residents to stay active and enjoy life which is why they regularly celebrate British and international holidays, awareness days and themed events. Ridgeway Rise promotes multigenerational interactions and often open their doors to local schools, nurseries and Scouts groups for fun-filled and educational activities.

Ridgeway have very strong links with the local community and love to take part in events in conjunction with friends and neighbors, such as Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk. They’re also proud supporters of Swindon Football Club.
