Student Winter Fashion - Guys
Any fashion conscious teenage lad can usually be found in their natural habitat, The Forum; stocking up on skinny jeans and the latest delivery of Known stock, but before you go flashing the cash this weekend guys, we suggest you check out, what trends to expect to see around college this Autumn/Winter:
Men’s winter fashion is pretty traditional this season with patterned knitwear in both vibrant and seasonal colours fast becoming popular choices on the guys around college.
For that thick top layer, blazers, long skinny woollen coats, leather jackets and lots of denim all work well. Faded, washed denim is massively popular and has been throughout most of 2012. Although pricier items such as leather jackets and blazers amongst students are a rarity, they're still a great look and if you can afford them, we say invest!
If you’d prefer to sway away from the traditional coat, quilted bombers and other casual jackets work just as well with faded denim jeans. If you’re trying to avoid the rain on an overcast day, parkas are always a great look as well as being very practical.
In terms of leg wear, skinny jeans are the way to go. You can’t go wrong with slim jeans, just be weary of how tight they become. Along with faded denim jeans, chinos in darker tones can be pulled off just as well with a much wider variety of colours and patterns.
It may sound surprising, but footwear can be just as difficult for men too. For a smart/casual clean look, desert boots, both low and high, are great for this time of year. We love suede at the moment however due to the time of year might not be that practical.
