Biggest local Superdrug store opens in Swindon

Greenbridge, Swindon welcomed a new location for health and beauty retailer, Superdrug on Monday 10th June.

Formerly the site of a Wilko store, the vacant Unit 10, in Greenbridge, has been filled by a new Superdrug store. The store’s opening times are from 9am – 8pm Monday – Saturday and 10:30am – 4:30pm on Sundays.

With 8,600 square feet, the newest addition to the site is the chain's largest branch in the local area, staffed by 30 full-time employees.

In addition to fully stocked shelves and a dedicated perfume section, the accessible building accommodates a Beauty Studio where visitors can enjoy various treatments during their visit.

This expansion aligns with the health and beauty specialist's plan to grow its physical retail presence by opening 25 new stores by the end of 2024 with the brand celebrating its 60th anniversary, this year.

Although an approved planning application had suggested Superdrug might occupy the former Sports Direct unit at the Orbital Shopping Park, the opening of the Greenbridge branch indicates a change in the company's plans.

The new store offers the latest health and beauty products, everyday toiletries, beauty treatments, and luxury fragrances, including Superdrug’s own-brand cosmetics range Studio London and other popular lines like B. Skin, Me+, Vitamin E, Optimum, and Naturally Radiant, all with a 100% money-back guarantee.
