Snapped: New Morrisons Opens in Swindon

Britain’s fourth biggest supermarket chain, Morrisons, has expanded its empire in Swindon. Shoppers turned out in their droves on Monday to be the first bargain hunters through the new £15m superstore's doors. The new development, in Eldene has generated more than 220 jobs in the area and given 114 people, whom were previously unemployed the chance to work again. Morrisons' in-store Craft Skills Academy, also means that many of its staff are highly skilled in baking, butchery and fishmongery. MP for South Swindon, Robert Buckland joined former STFC goalkeeper Fraser Digby to offically open the store.
