Premiership points: Swindon 3 Rye House 1
Nick Morris ©: 8
A disappointing first heat saw Rye House secure an opening 5-1 maximum. However when needed most Morris delivered and certainly led the eventual comeback charge that would see Swindon keep their unbeaten home record going. Decided to wear his own kevlars instead of the teams which seems a strange decision.
Adam Ellis: 7
After struggling in the British championship earlier in the week, Ellis did well to bounce back to point-scoring form against Rye House. Came last in his first race appearing to be lacking pace in his machinery. Finished the night on 6+2 and was awarded rider of the night.
Troy Batchelor: 8
Eight points down after two heats meant it looked like it would be a long night for Swindon fans, however stopping the rot with a heat win in his opening race, Batchelor was an example to his teammates. Dropped only two points all night and is continuing his run of impressive form.
David Bellego: 5
Scoring just one point in Wednesday’s defeat away to Leicester, Bellego had a lot of pressure put on him in order to perform well for this meeting.
Replaced in heat ten with Nick Morris taking his ride instead, but the Frenchman secure an impressive 5-1 heat maximum in heat fourteen to all but win the meeting for Swindon.
Tobiasz Musielak: 8
Scored ten points from five rides on the night continuing his impressive form of riding that is seeing the Swindon heat leader becoming one of the most talked about Polish riders in the sport. Always so calm and collective on the bike and makes it look easy when overtaking.
Zach Wajtknecht: 6
Another impressive night for the Bristol born racer saw him score 4+3 in what was a difficult meeting for all racers involved. Continues to show how much he is progressing on the bike by beating quality riders with more experience than himself. Rode extremely well in heat fourteen to keep Robson in third and secure the heat maximum.
Anders Rowe: 5
Turning just sixteen earlier this month, long-term Swindon asset made his club and premiership debut against a talented Rye House side. Replacing Jack Smith for the evening, Rowe performed valiantly to score one point on the night.
A big learning experience for the youngster whom we expect great things from in the future.
