Aguiar makes Swindon Town exit
Swindon Town continued to shuffle their playing squad for the 2024/25 campaign after announcing the departure of Ricky Aguiar.
The midfielder has left the County Ground to join York City on an undisclosed fee.
Aguiar initially joined the Robins on a free transfer from non-league Worthing back in August 2021.
He played 41 times for Town in all competitions, as well as having loan spells at Chippenham, Torquay and back at Worthing.
He joins York subject to EFL approval, with his new club having finished 20th in the National League last season.
A statement on Swindon Town’s official website said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank Ricky for all his efforts during his time with us and wish him all the very best for the future.”
