February was a rich month for Swindon Town and all involved, as the club picked up ten points from a possible 15, scoring nine goals along the way.
Such goalscoring exploits were helped in huge part by in form striker Nicky Ajose, who moved to the top of the League One scoring charts alongside Coventry City's Adam Armstrong.
The former Manchester United trainee has been in blistering form, reminding Robins fans just how potent he can be in front of goal when presented with an opportunity.
The striker's month hit its peak during the mid February home tie against Blackpool at the County Ground, where Swindon went behind to the visitors before Ajose pulled off a fine hattrick.
Striking up a remarkable partnership with fellow front man Jon Obika, the pair have been a key driving force in the Robins' rise from the depths of League One to within only a handful of points from the playoff positions.
Ajose will have to fend off the opposition of three others if he is to win the award; Barnsley's Alfie Mawson, Bradford City's James Hanson and Millwall's Jordan Archer - who Ajose will come up against this weekend when Swindon welcome the Lions to SN1.
Manager Luke Williams meanwhile has gone about quietly conducting his business in impressive fashion, letting his coaching skills do the talking.
Under Williams' tutelage, the Robins have all but steered themselves clear of the relegation scrap, while building upon the steady work implemented by former manager Martin Ling.
Williams is charged with taking first team responsibilities until the end of the season, though his commanding presence at the Swindon Town helm - rightly deserving of a manager of the month nomination - may well see his adoption as first team manager on a full time basis.
Watch Williams speak to the press following a recent victory over Doncaster Rovers below:
The winners of both awards will be announced on Friday, ahead of Swindon Town's weekend clash against Millwall at the County Ground.
